Cancer is considered as one of unpredicted diseases because it can show up instantly and kill anyone rapidly. People do not have a time to blink like the patient with any kind of cancer will not be in the world anymore. According to the Cancer.net website “There are some tests that everyone should have to take at least once a year despite of the age”.() These tests and analyzes are Biopsy, Breast MRI, Colonoscopy, Computed Tomography, Mammography, Endoscopy, Pap Test, Ultrasound, and Tumor Marker Test. After hearing the numerous names of tests, people will be shocked and even will not understand the meaning and importance of each test and analyzes but no one can be 100% sure without any check up. Believe me, it is the horrible and loneliest moment in the world when you see how people who have been a part of you are slowly going out of life, and your world falls apart because you could not do anything to help them survive. I went through this… I lost my grandmother.
Once my grandmother began to feel bad more often, and with family, we decided to go to hospital and take analyzes. A week later it turned out that she had had cancer for 3 years, and after years it woke up. I remember this day as yesterday. I cried all day and night just imagining that I could wake up one day and not see, hear, and hug her anymore. The doctor said that everything will be fine and started her treatment. Over time, she began to lose her hair. Her cure lasted approximately 1.5 years and the doctor said that she will be okay because they reduced the cancer’s size. We were all happy at that time, but it lasted very short. Two days later, her temperature began to rise and she was in very poor condition. My parents did not let me see her, saying that I should not see her like that and should try to remember her as it was a year ago. And after days she died. I cannot describe my situation with words that day. I loved her so much and lost her forever.
